ATF Week 9: This Week's 'Added to Favorites'
In the mood for spring: vintage Celine loafers, the perfect Chanel flats (plus more Chanel), and yet another Mugler blazer.
Good morning, vintage lovers! It’s been in the 60s this week in New York, which means I’ve been in a very spring state of mind. I’ve been thinking of my most-worn spring pieces as I do my warm weather wardrobe inventory, and which of them are sadly past their prime - like my absolute favorite vintage horsebit loafers which I have literally worn into the ground. My inventory has also revealed a few holes, like a really good go-to pair of heels. So during my browsing for these replacement pieces I found some options that I thought the rest of you might also enjoy.
Everyone should have a staple black pump, and this Chanel pair is only $456.
I am a believer in boots for all seasons, so don’t discount these Prada knee high boots.
Now, a brief dive into loafers.
I am all about the silver stud details on things these days (Khaite belt, also, Khaite bag), and these loafers really hit the spot.
Gucci loafers, need I say more?
To me, woven leather just somehow seems more elevated. These Bally loafers are under $90.
Celine loafers under $90.
Okay, back to the rest of the goodies.
Vintage Cop Copine is sometimes a miss, but this blazer is pretty fun - although I would probably change out the buttons for something more elevated.
Something Cop Copine does really well? Mesh tops. This top gives me JPG vibes.
I can’t tell if these Chanel flats are giving penguin, but I think I kind of love them. The collar bar detailing is fun, and I love the contrasting colors. And no one else has these, so go be a conversation starter.
A favorite silhouette of those popular vintage Instagram accounts, these Chanel heeled mules are perfect for the warmer weather.
Apparently I fell down a Chanel rabbit hole. These heels are a bit on the pricier side, but they’re a great way to elevate a black sandal.
If anyone is getting married, I beg of you, please wear these Prada beaded sequin heels.
I am a sucker for a good pair of vintage Levis, and the leg of these might be perfect.
I saw someone in one of the many Substack chats asking about a contrast collar trench coat from By Malene Birger, and now I can’t get it out of my head. This vintage Saks trench is a winner in my book.
I don’t know why, but I love these Haider Ackermann knit shorts. They’re kind of ugly, but maybe in a cool way? I think a loafer and trench could make these pretty cool.
Bottega meets Gucci - a cute little everyday woven leather shoulder bag under $200.
Last week’s roundup was solely jackets and blazers, and once a blazer lover, always a blazer lover. Especially when it’s vintage Mugler for $375.
The perfect nautical Chanel flats for spring. Just imagine some white jeans and these flats, maybe on a weekend getaway by the water. *sigh*
You can never have too many belts! This vintage Gucci horsebit belt is stunning. I’ve been belting my coats and jackets recently, and I think this would be the perfect statement.
have size envy for those studded loafers </3
Love! Such great spring finds!
